Homeless People
By Terrie Soberg | February 12, 2008
On the way to see Grandpa Bob, there was a homeless man on the side of the road holding a sign. Bonnie asked me what the man was doing. I told her that he didn’t have any money or place to live, so he was trying to get people to give him money. She asked why he had a coat if he didn’t have any money. I told her that he probably got enough money from people to go and buy a coat.
In all of her six-year-old wisdom, she said, “It would be much more realistic if he wasn’t wearing a coat.”
